DevOps Engineer (Database Administration & Cloud Infrastructure) - Aveiro

We are seeking aDevOps Engineer with strong expertise in database administration and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in database installation, configuration, high-availability architectures, replication technologies, backup and recovery processes, performance optimization, and troubleshooting. This role requires solid Linux and networking knowledge, with cloud, Kubernetes, and containerization experience considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administerPostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB databases.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of database platforms.
• Design, implement, and managehigh-availability, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Define, execute, and monitor backup and recovery strategies.
• Perform database performance analysis and tuning to optimize system efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents and technical issues related to database environments.
• Administer and supportLinux-based operating systems and virtualized infrastructures.
• Collaborate in the management and support of cloud infrastructures.
• Participate in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization ofKubernetes environments and container-based solutions.
• Work closely with infrastructure and development teams to ensure the stability, scalability, and security of platform services.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree inComputer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of3 years of professional experience in DevOps, Systems Administration, Database Administration, or a related infrastructure role.
