ABOUT THE ROLE

Our UK team is excited to welcome aMid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our growing Managed Services team atRoboyo. In this role,you’ll work closely with application and platform engineers to design, deploy, and support reliable infrastructure solutions for our clients. 

 
We’re looking for someone witha strong foundation in Azure, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices — particularly in building and managing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native monitoring. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, automation, and contributing to platform stability and performance. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deploy, configure, andmaintainDocker containers andAzure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters using automated pipelines. 

• Manage andoperate Azure infrastructure includingVMs, networking, storage, IAM, Key Vault, andSecurityGroups. 

• Build and maintainCI/CD pipelines usingAzure DevOps, including release workflows and infrastructure automation. 

• Monitor/Logging system performance using tools likeElastic Agent,Prometheus,Azure Monitor, andGrafana. 

• Collaborate with development and client teams to implement robust, scalable DevOps solutions. 

• Ensure service reliability throughSLA/SLO/SLI tracking and proactive issue resolution. 

• Provide on-call support on a rotational basis for high-priority incidents. 

• Continuously improve system architecture, automation, and operational processes. 

• Stay current with industry best practices and evolving cloud-native technologies. 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• At least2 years of hands-on experience withAzure and Kubernetes (AKS) in production environments. 

• Strong knowledge of Docker, container orchestration, and Kubernetes core components (e.g.,Pods,PVs, Services,ConfigMap, DNS, networking). 

• Proven experience with Azure services including storage, virtual machines, networking, IAM, and security configurations. 

• Solid understanding and usage ofCI/CD tools (especiallyAzure DevOps) with the ability to writepipelinesstagesin YAML. 

• Experience withLogging and observability tools: Elastic Agent, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, and Grafana. 

• Comfortable with both Linux and Windows environments. 

• Familiar with version control systems, especially Git. 

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm. 

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Fluent in English. 

• Have or meetUK Enhanced Security checks to support clients of national importance. 

NICE TO HAVE

• Scripting experience with Bash,PowerShell andPython 

• Kubernetes certification (CKA, CKAD) is a plus. 

• ITIL knowledge or experience in service management is beneficial
