DevOps and Engineering - Data Center Engineer

Required Skills and Experience:

• • Proven experience working in a data centre environment
  • Strong rack and stack experience with IT hardware
  • Solid knowledge of network cabling (copper/fibre)
  • Experience with data centre power, rack power, and power distribution
  • Basic networking knowledge (e.g. connectivity, patching, IP awareness)
  • Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Comfortable working with multiple teams in a dynamic environment
  • Maintain high standards of organisation, safety, and documentation
  • Excel skills.

"Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

• • Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or similar)
  • Experience working on large-scale data centre builds or migrations
  • Familiarity with DCIM platforms (e.g. Sunbird, Nlyte, Schneider EcoStruxure)
