Role: Full Stack Software Engineer
Location: McLean, VA(Need Local Candidates)
Pay Rate: $70-$75

Introduction

The Skills Marketplace team is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to support the development and enhancement of a web-based Skills Marketplace platform. The platform is integral to managing skills across the organization, incorporating advanced data processing and AI-related engineering initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Full-stack software development experience.
• Previous Client experience is required
• Strong backend development experience using an object-oriented programming language such as Python or Go.
• Strong experience with React or another modern JavaScript framework.
• Experience with AWS, particularly Lambda and/or ECS.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized application environments.
• Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with GitHub or large-scale source-code repositories.
• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers or similar AI integration technologies.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted development tools.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and maintain applications supporting the Skills Marketplace.
• Analyze existing code, identify system bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering team members to troubleshoot issues and improve system reliability and scalability.
