DESKTOP ANALYST - INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY - FT DAYS (63590)

JOB SUMMARY:

Coordinates and maintains computer hardware, software, and peripherals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Approaches problems analytically, using good judgment, common sense, and technical knowledge when problem solving.
2. Makes every attempt to resolve tasks/calls quickly and limits the need to dispatch additional staff where possible. Focused on 100% uptime and customer satisfaction.
3. Maintains inventory of spare parts and replacement equipment.
4. Configures and tests new and existing systems.
5. Repairs/refurbishes equipment. Escalates problems to support vendor as appropriate.
6. Contributes to the productivity and efficient operation of the department through skills transfer, continued professional growth and self-education of new technologies.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Education Level:

Associates Degree in an Information Technology field, or A+, or N+ certification

Experience Requirement:

Must have working knowledge of Microsoft applications and operating systems. Knowledgeable of network protocols, desktop hardware configurations and printers.
