Deputy Manager Fulfilment

Mission

Key missions of the position:

• Driveend-to-end fulfillment operations ensuring high supplier performance, material availability, and production continuity.
• Own and improveOn-Time Delivery (OTD), On-Time Performance (OTP), and inventory efficiency aligned with business targets.
• Lead and coordinatepurchase order management, supplier communication, and escalation handling.
• Ensureseamless alignment between suppliers, production, warehouse, and planning teams.
• Driveprocess improvements, cost optimization, and operational excellence across fulfillment activities.

 Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

Fulfillment Planning & Execution

• Oversee and driveend-to-end fulfillment operations, including procurement planning and material flow.

• Ensurealignment between supply, demand, and production schedules.
• Monitor and controlpurchase order execution and supplier commitments.

Supplier Performance &  Relationship Management

• Manage supplier performance in terms ofOTD, responsiveness, and quality.
• Lead supplier review meetings and driveperformance improvement plans.
• Handle escalations and ensuretimely resolution of delivery issues.

Production Support & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate withProduction, PPC, Warehouse, and Engineering teams for material planning and execution.
• Ensurezero or minimal production stoppages due to material shortages.
• Act as a key interface betweenshop floor operations and supply chain teams.

Inventory & Cost Optimization

• Monitor and optimize inventory levels, stock turnover, and working capital.
• Drive reduction of excess inventory, ageing stock, and non-moving items.
• Reduce dependency on premium freight and emergency sourcing.

Performance Monitoring & Issue Resolution

• Track fulfillment KPIs and ensureconsistent target achievement.
• Analyze deviations and conductroot cause analysis (RCA).
• Implementcorrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve performance.

Process Improvement & Systems

• Drive implementation ofstandard operating procedures (SOPs) in fulfillment processes.
• Ensure effective use ofERP systems for PO tracking, inventory, and reporting.
• Lead initiatives forautomation, digitalization, and process standardization.

Stakeholder Communication & Governance

• Communicate proactively withinternal stakeholders and suppliers regarding material status and risks.
• Provideregular reporting on KPIs, risks, and improvement actions.
• Ensure transparency and alignment across all stakeholders.

Team Management & Development

• Guide and superviseengineers / executives in fulfillment team.
• Ensure effective workload distribution and performance monitoring.
• Support team capability building throughtraining and mentoring.

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure adherence tocompany policies, quality standards, and safety norms.
• Maintain proper documentation and supportinternal/external audits.

Education/Training

§ B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical / Production / Industrial or equivalent)

§  Experience insupplier management and production coordination roles

§  Prior team handling exposure preferred
