Job Description:

The person will be responsible foroverall Chinchwad plant operations management with end-to-end accountability for manufacturing, repair operations, warehouse, logistics, planning, and delivery performance.

Will be responsible foron-time delivery of spares, mechanical seals and repair jobs to customers through efficient coordination between production, warehouse, and supply chain functions.

Will be responsible forcomplete manufacturing operations, including mechanical seal assembly, parts manufacturing, repair shop activities, and process optimization.

Will be responsible forcentral warehouse operations, including incoming material (GRN), binning, picking, packing, inventory control, logistics, and dispatches.

Will be responsible forproduction planning and material replenishment, ensuring optimal coordination with internal production units and external vendors through MRP and forecasting.

Will be responsible forcapacity planning, including machines, manpower, and outsourcing decisions based on techno-commercial evaluation.

Will be responsible for handling theentire plant operations team, including managers, engineers, staff, and blue-collar/contract workforce.

Will be responsible forinventory management, ensuring inventory levels are optimized and working capital is controlled through effective forecasting and planning.

Will be responsible forcost control and profitability improvement, including monitoring budgets, reducing operational costs, and improving efficiencies.

Will be responsible forplant maintenance and reliability, ensuring minimal downtime and high equipment availability through preventive maintenance systems.

Will be responsible fordriving digitalization and system improvements, including SAP usage, automation initiatives, and process standardization.

Will be responsible forcustomer satisfaction, including improving OTD, reducing complaints, and enhancing responsiveness.

Will be responsible for maintaininghealthy industrial relations and ensuring compliance with all statutory, safety, and environmental regulations.

Should effectively utilizetransporters and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliveries.

Should possessstrong knowledge of SAP, MRP systems, and warehouse/production processes.

Should havehandled large teams, including cross-functional teams and multiple reporting managers.

Person frompump / rotating equipment / mechanical seals industry is highly desirable.

Education:

BE (Mechanical) / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering
Preferred: MBA / PG in Operations Management

Experience:

At least20–25 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, plant operations, and repairs / maintenance
Should have handledlarge-scale plant operations in a leadership role
