Demand Planner (Aftermarket Planning)

Position Summary

Our client is seeking aDemand Planner to join a growing supply chain team. This position plays a key role in developing demand forecasts, supporting inventory planning, and driving data-driven decision-making across sales, operations, and supply chain functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, forecasting expertise, and a collaborative approach to improving planning accuracy and operational performance.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain SKU-level demand forecasts across multiple product lines and channels
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and business drivers to improve forecast accuracy
• Partner with sales, operations, and leadership teams to build consensus demand plans
• Monitor forecast performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Support inventory planning and purchasing strategies to align supply with customer demand
• Evaluate inventory trends and help reduce excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory
• Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and present planning recommendations to leadership
• Provide reporting, analysis, and insights related to demand, inventory, and revenue projections
• Assist in developing long-range planning strategies that support business growth and profitability
• Support process improvements and implementation of forecasting best practices

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Statistics, Business, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, or inventory management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets
• Experience working with ERP systems and forecasting tools preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Understanding of inventory planning and supply chain processes
• APICS, ISM, or related professional certifications are a plus
• Experience within a global supply chain environment is preferred
