Dedicated Freight Route Driver – Home Weekly | Class A CDL Drivers

Experienced Class A drivers are needed for a dedicated regional account delivering dry van freight to retail locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.

This is a hands-on driving position with weekly home time and additional compensation for unloading. Drivers average approximately $1,725–$2,200 per week, depending on experience, route activity, and applicable additional pay.

Your Week at a Glance

Plan on approximately1,500 miles per week with a 34-hour reset at home each week.

Routes generally include1–6 delivery stops per trailer, with freight moving throughout Virginia, North Carolina, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, and West Virginia.

This account involvesdriver unload. Freight is delivered to retail locations and unloaded using a roller system.

Pay Breakdown

Mileage pay ranges from$0.77–$0.80 CPM, based on qualifying experience. All in pay is$1.44/mile.

Drivers can also earn:

• $250 for each trailer unload
• $35 for applicable backhauls
• $125 weekly incentive after completing three unloads
• Additional compensation for qualifying New York City deliveries
• Sign-on bonus available

With mileage and applicable additional compensation combined, drivers on this account average approximately$1,725–$2,200 per week.

Is This Account a Good Fit?

This position is a strong fit for drivers who want weekly home time but don't mind being physically involved with deliveries.

You'll be responsible for safely transporting dedicated freight, unloading at customer locations, completing required vehicle inspections and electronic logs, and following applicable DOT and company safety procedures.

What You'll Need

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least3 months of recent Class A tractor-trailer experience
• Minimum age of 21
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to meet applicable DOT and company qualification requirements
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of driver unload
