Description and Location
How You'll Make an Impact
· You will become part of an internationally distributed software development team.
· You will work closely with Front-end & Back-end software engineers as well as with UX/UI designers.
· You will develop innovative application software using Ionic framework with Cordova, targeting both Android and iOS platforms.
· You will elaborate and extend technical solutions for diverse business use cases, integrating with the SiMPL framework.
· You will be responsible for enforcing best design, coding, and architecture practices for mobile applications.
· You will participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing mobile apps for performance and reliability.
What You Bring
· At least 5–6 years of experience developing mobile applications with Ionic framework and Cordova.
· Hands-on expertise in building, testing, and deploying apps for Android and iOS.
· Strong experience with the SiMPL framework for application integration and optimization.
· Proficiency in Angular, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript.
· Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus.
· Familiarity with mobile device APIs and Cordova plugin integration.
· Sound understanding of RESTful APIs, third-party services, and cloud integration.
· Excellent communication and global inter-team collaboration skills.
· Experience in research and development processes for software solutions/products, including implementation of strategies, technical lead functions, and testing.
· Basic knowledge of mobile UX/UI principles and image authoring tools (Gimp, Photoshop, etc.).
· Proficient understanding of cross-platform compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
· Experience with code versioning tools (e.g., Git, SVN).
· Good understanding of mobile SEO principles and accessibility.
· Experience in IBM Jazz is an added advantage, with Agile/Lean development methods using Scrum, Rapid Programming techniques, and TDD.
· Takes strong initiative and is highly result oriented.
· Good at communicating within the team as well as with all stakeholders.
· Strong customer focus and quick learner.
· Highly proactive and a team player.
· Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
· Having an interdisciplinary, analytical, and structured way of thinking.
· Ability to communicate confidently in an international and multicultural environment.
· Good command of English in written and spoken communication.
· Ready to travel for onsite job assignments (short to long term).
