DCP Extensions: Minnie Van Ride Associate - Spring 2027
Job Description
The Minnie Van Service Ride Associate (MVSRA) will create magic by transporting our Guests around the Walt Disney World Resort. In this role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding Guest Service, sharing product knowledge, and using the Lyft app to connect with Guests that request transportation. Â
This is an extension opportunity. Selected candidates could be assigned a transfer date as early as October 2026 and must be willing and able to depart May 6th, 2027, or later.  Departure dates will be discussed during interviews. Â
The pay rate is $17 per hour plus tips. Â

Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles of multiple sizes including commercial vehicles on Walt Disney World property Â
- Maintain the safety of our Guests while operating vehicles, including during inclement weather Â
- Proven knowledge of routes and roadways to destinations within the Walt Disney World Resort, including Theme Parks, Water Parks, Resorts, and Disney Springs Â
- Strong interpersonal skills including the desire to interact with children and families from all over the world Â
- Proven knowledge of on-property experiences including dining and various activities and offerings for guests to enjoy Â
- Provide Guest Service when problems arise and help find solutions with Guests and Cast Members Â
- Passion and knowledge of Disney Products Â
- Use a Smartphone device Â
- Work shift with limited direct leadership involvement Â
- Assist guests with boarding vehicles by operating an accessibility lift, loading and unloading guest personal items and luggage weighing up to 60 lbs, pushing/pulling wheelchairs, and installing child safety seats following state requirements Â
- Keep vehicles clean and presentable Â
- Complete all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assignedÂ
Basic Qualifications
To qualify for this opportunity, you must: Â- Be a current participant in the Disney College Program with an arrival date no earlier than May 4th, 2026,and be fully available through at least May 2027. Â
- Be fully available through your assigned extension end date Â
- Be at least 21 years of age at time of application Â
- Currently have a valid US driver’s license with at least five (5) years of history holding a valid US driver’s license (since today’s date in 2021)  PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Â
- a learner’s permit does not count towards the 5-year requirementÂ
- "US" means contiguous US (Lower 48) plus Alaska, and Hawaii Â
- All applicants with driving experience in Puerto Rico/U.S. Virgin Islands mush have a U.S. domestic license for a minimum of 1 year and a minimum of 5 years of driving historyÂ
- Produce a record of following state and federal motor vehicle regulations - we will assist with letting you know what we need Â
- Be receptive to random drug and alcohol testing Â
- Be able to lift 60 lbs Â
- Must adhere to all Disney Look guidelines Â
- Have no more than FOUR (4) attendance points within the last six (6) months (not including early shift releases or authorized days off); No more than ONE (1) reprimand within the last six (6) months Â
- A $240 non-refundable Extension Program Participation Fee is due upon accepting your extension offer. If you have a registered vehicle, a $75Â parking decal renewal fee applies, or $150Â for a new decal. Parking decals are limited, available first come, first served, and require a vehicle to be pre-registered in DORMS. If you have already accepted an extension in your current role and location, an additional Program Participation Fee will not be required.Â
Preferred Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications to Make You Stand Out- Proven bilingual ability, specifically Spanish, Portuguese, American Sign Language, Japanese, Mandarin, or French.
- One (1) year of Guest Facing role or related experience
- Proven experience with guest recovery
