The Role

We are looking for a versatile and hands-on Tiler, Painter & Room Technician to join our Maintenance team. This is a combined role for a multi-skilled tradesperson who can carry out tiling, painting, and general room/technical maintenance work across our hotel properties, ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are always maintained to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out tiling works including repairs, replacements, and new installations in bathrooms, guest rooms, and common areas
• Prepare surfaces and carry out painting and finishing works throughout the hotel (rooms, corridors, back-of-house areas, etc.)
• Perform general room maintenance and repair duties, including minor plumbing, carpentry, fixtures, and fittings
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns reported by housekeeping or front office
• Conduct routine inspections of rooms and facilities to identify and address maintenance issues proactively
• Ensure all work is carried out safely, neatly, and with minimal disruption to guests
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
• Keep accurate records of work carried out and materials used
• Work closely with the wider Maintenance and Engineering team on planned refurbishment and upkeep projects

Requirements

• Proven experience as a tiler, painter, and/or general maintenance/room technician, ideally within a hotel or hospitality environment
• Strong practical skills in tiling and painting, with a good understanding of general building maintenance
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple tasks
• A keen eye for detail and finish quality
• Good problem-solving skills and a hands-on, can-do attitude
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by hotel operations
• Basic English communication skills
