Tice Valley Post Acute is seeking acompassionate, dependable, and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team on aPRN (as-needed) basis.

This is a great opportunity for an LVN looking for flexible scheduling while providing high-quality, resident-centered care in a skilled nursing and post-acute setting.

Position Details

• Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
• Employment Type: PRN / As Needed
• Pay:Starting at $35 per hour
• Benefits: Available based on eligibility

About the Role

The LVN will provide safe, compassionate, and professional nursing care to residents while working closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate is reliable, clinically knowledgeable, and committed to maintaining high standards of resident care.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Assist with assessments, care planning, and ongoing resident monitoring.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and members of the healthcare team.
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents.
• Respond appropriately to resident needs and changes in condition.
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• CurrentCalifornia LVN license in good standing.
• Previous skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional.
• Commitment to providing quality resident-centered care.
