JOB SUMMARY

Join ONEOK as the Manager, Fuel Advocacy and lead strategic product quality initiatives that strengthen asset performance, operational reliability, and commercial outcomes across the organization. In this influential role, you will partner with Commercial, Operations, Engineering, Finance, ESH, Compliance, and Risk teams to establish consistent quality practices, analyze performance trends, resolve complex product quality issues, and translate technical insights into actionable business strategies. You will also guide cross-functional programs, identify opportunities to reduce risk and improve efficiency, and serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and stakeholders.

This position will lead one direct report and is ideal for a collaborative, technically skilled people leader who is passionate about developing talent. You will coach and manage performance, establish priorities, allocate work based on business and operational needs, and provide technical guidance in product quality practices, analysis, and issue resolution. By fostering an accountable, collaborative, and continuous improvement-oriented environment, you will strengthen team capabilities while advancing innovative solutions that support ONEOKโ€™s operational and commercial objectives.

Preferred educational background for this role is Engineering, Business, Economics, Political Science or Public Policy

Job Profile Summary

Responsible for leading enterprise-level quality programs that optimize asset performance, reliability, and commercial outcomes across pipeline, facility, and operational environments. This role drives the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality frameworks, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational standards. Operates as a recognized enterprise expert, applying advanced knowledge of asset optimization, statistics, performance analytics, and quality management to influence strategy, governance, and decision-making across business units. Leads complex, cross-functional initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, reduce risk, and maximize asset value. Serves as a key advisor to leadership, establishing standards, driving consistency across assets, and leading initiatives with significant impact on commercial performance, operational integrity, and long-term organizational objectives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Quality Program Strategy & Governance
  • Lead development and execution of enterprise quality programs aligned with asset optimization and commercial objectives
  • Establish and maintain quality standards, frameworks, and governance processes across assets and operations
  • Ensure consistency in quality practices, processes, and performance expectations across multiple business units
  • Influence strategic decisions related to asset performance, reliability, and optimization initiatives
  • Asset Optimization & Performance Improvement
  • Partner with Commercial, Operations, and Engineering teams to optimize asset performance and maximize value
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce losses, and enhance operational reliability
  • Support development and implementation of performance improvement initiatives across pipeline and facility operations
  • Evaluate asset performance trends and recommend strategies to improve commercial outcomes
  • Data Analytics & Performance Insights
  • Lead analysis of performance, quality, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Develop and support reporting frameworks, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights that drive operational and commercial decision-making
  • Ensure data integrity and alignment across systems supporting asset optimization activities
  • Risk Management & Compliance
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to asset performance, operational quality, and commercial processes
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards
  • Support audit readiness and compliance initiatives related to operational quality and performance
  • Partner with ESH, Compliance, and Risk teams to align quality programs with enterprise risk management strategies
  • Program Leadership & Execution
  • Lead and coordinate large-scale, cross-functional programs impacting multiple regions, assets, or business units
  • Develop program roadmaps, timelines, and success metrics aligned with business priorities
  • Monitor program performance and ensure delivery of expected outcomes and value
  • Drive accountability for program execution across stakeholders
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Influence
  • Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on quality, performance, and asset optimization strategies
  • Influence decision-making across Commercial, Operations, Engineering, and Finance functions
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships to drive alignment and execution
  • Communicate program outcomes, risks, and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  • Lead initiatives to enhance processes, systems, and tools supporting asset optimization and quality management
  • Promote continuous improvement methodologies and best practices across the organization
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve performance, efficiency, and scalability
  • Support integration activities related to acquisitions to ensure consistent quality standards and processes

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field typically required
  • Masters Degree preferred

Work Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in asset optimization, commercial operations, engineering, or related field typically required
  • Experience leading enterprise-level programs or initiatives
  • Experience in oil & gas, energy, or industrial operations preferred
  • Equivalent industry experience may be considered
