Job Responsibilities
Responsible for operating process equipment following standard operating procedures.  This includes monitoring process variables, collecting samples, performing analysis, making process adjustments, moving, loading, and discharging raw materials; packaging and warehousing products, loading trucks, and keeping various process records. Must follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

- Follows all safety rules policies, procedures, OSHA regulationsÂ
- Secures and reports unsafe conditionsÂ
- Attends required safety trainingÂ
- Start, stop, monitor, and adjust process equipment to ensure safe, quality operation within specified limitsÂ
- Packages, labels, warehouses and loads finished goods for shipmentÂ
- Reads and follows production plans, planning work in conjunction with other team membersÂ
- Operates forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipmentÂ
- Performs light maintenance work and aids maintenance employees along with completion of operations Preventative Maintenance work ordersÂ
- Control or operate chemical processes or systems of machines, using control boards, or semi-automatic equipmentÂ
- Adjust control settings to make necessary changes on equipment units affecting speeds of chemical reactions, quality, or yieldsÂ
- Monitor recording instruments, flowmeters, panel lights, or other indicators and listen for warning signals, to verify conformity of process conditionsÂ
- Inspect operating units, such as towers, storage tanks, scrubbers, collectors, or driers to ensure that all are functioning and to maintain maximum efficiencyÂ
- Regulate or shut down equipment during emergency situations, as directed by supervisory personnel or as situations ariseÂ
- Draw samples of products/process solutions for quality control tests to monitor processing and to ensure that environmental and quality standards are metÂ
- Record operating data, such as process conditions, test results, or instrument readingsÂ
- Performs other duties as assigned Â
Candidate Qualifications/ Requirements
- Manufacturing experience and 6+ months of plant experience preferredÂ
- Must have good understanding of mechanical equipmentÂ
- Must be capable of understanding and using Microsoft Office products and DeltaV systemÂ
