GENERAL DESCRIPTION• Being part of the back-office operations in the area of Operations Control for Singapore and Hong Kong Booking Centres primarily for supporting the MIS and Reporting function
• Responsible for data extract requests from Operations, Monthly management information and statistics reporting, supporting data extracts for regulatory submissions / surveys / audit, maintenance of static tables, preparing MIS reports, setting up market rules and HKTR / DTCC OTC Derivatives reporting.

KEY FEATURES and accountabilities
Client Management (internal & external)
- Close collaboration with internal partners and relevant departments on for data extraction, MIS, audit and regulatory request for data
Business Management
- Work with various stakeholders to coordinate extracts, MIS, data for regulators / audits
- Ensure timely submission of regulatory reports for OTC Derivative products to regulatory bodies
- Set up of market rules and handle the approving of trades from the Pretrade Validation queue
- Take care of subaccount opening for Trade Processing and Corporate Action team
- Participate in User-Acceptance-Testing when required
Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management
- Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Work with the relevant teams in fulfilment of regulatory requirements
- Ensure data extraction is done/provided on a need-to-know basis with appropriate approvals taken with checks and balances when providing the data
- Complete mandatory trainings

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

- Having eye for detail, risk/control mind-set, anticipate upcoming risks, ability to review processes and implement mitigating controls
- Good communication skills and able to interact with people at various levels
- High level of integrity, commitment and drive to excel in the role
- Demonstrates initiative and passion and is an effective team-player
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle tight deadlines
Professional and Technical
- Degree qualified and minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in Banking or related discipline
- Proficiency in MS Office software, macros and competent end-to-end knowledge of the private banking value chain
- Proficiency in working with tools for extraction of data from various systems, MIS
- Candidate with relevant experience in VBA/SQL will be an advantage
