OurAssistant Group Leaders andGroup Leaders help create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children in our school-age before and after school programs. Staff lead games, facilitate hands-on activities, support homework time, and help children build friendships and confidence.

Available Hours
Before School Programs
- Monday through Friday
- Approximately 6:30/7:00 AM to 8:30 AM
After School Programs
- Monday through Friday
- Approximately 2:30 PM to 5:30/6:00 PM
Additional Opportunities
- School vacation weeks
- No-school days
- Summer programming opportunities may be available
Pay Range
Group Leaders
- $14 - $16 per hour
Assistant Group Leaders
- $13-15
Qualifications
Group Leaders
Must be at least17 years old and meet one of the following New Hampshire Child Care Licensing requirements:
- Have a minimum of 3 college credits in Education or a related field; OR
- Have at least 600 hours of experience working with children; OR
- Have 5 years of parenting experience
Assistant Group Leaders
- Must be at least15 years old
- Enjoy working with children
- Be enthusiastic, dependable, and positive
- Serve as a role model while assisting with daily activities and program operations
What You'll Do
- Lead group games and enrichment activities
- Assist with arts and crafts, STEM projects, and outdoor play
- Support children's social and emotional development
- Help with homework and academic enrichment
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants
- Work collaboratively with fellow staff and site leadership
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for children and families
