ED Registration Clerk – Day Shift (Full-Time)

Be the first friendly face patients see in our Emergency Department. Wayne General Hospital is hiring aDay Shift ED Registration Clerk to support fast, accurate patient check-in and outstanding customer service.

What You’ll Do:

  • Greet and register ED patients quickly and accurately

  • Verify insurance and collect co-pays

  • Answer phones and route calls appropriately

  • Protect patient privacy (HIPAA compliant)

  • Work closely with clinical staff to keep patient flow moving

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Medical registration or front-office experience preferred

  • Insurance verification & EHR experience (Cerner a plus)

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced ED environment

  • Bilingual a plus
