Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedDatabase Support Engineer / DBA to manage and support Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases across on-premises and AWS cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, cloud database management, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Ensure database availability, performance, integrity, and security.
• Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
• Support AWS-hosted databases (RDS, EC2-based deployments).
• Perform database migrations from on-premises to AWS.
• Conduct SQL tuning, query optimization, index tuning, and performance analysis.
• Support Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, Flashback, and SQL Server AlwaysOn, Log Shipping, and Replication.
• Automate database administration tasks using Shell, PowerShell, Python, SQL/PL-SQL/T-SQL.
• Work with cloud, security, CMDB, and infrastructure teams to support integrated service delivery.
