Description
ā¢ Creation of functional and technical specifications for database development, analyze requirements and help project team in solution, technical design, implementation, and support.
ā¢ Work with the project team in completing all relevant and required documentation in alignment with OPS standards.

ā¢ Creation of technical specifications for Azure, SQL and Oracle database systems development
ā¢ Design, implement and work with the project team in completing all relevant and required documentation in alignment with OPS standards
ā¢ Undertake special assignments/sub-projects as assigned
ā¢ Conduct, assess, evaluate and document stakeholder interests and business needs
ā¢ Create and validate business scenarios and use cases
ā¢ Produce visual depiction of use cases and process flows; ensure alignment with the program area and associated business architecture, as well as traceability to solution logical and physical architectures
ā¢ Create, review, provide input and support of Enterprise Architecture artifacts for all checkpoints as required
ā¢ Create system and user interface design and modifications (data & screen) as required
ā¢ Review all test scenarios to ensure the requirements are met; establish traceability matrix to monitor output
ā¢ Ensure alignment and adherence to Ministry of Government Services' processes and standards
ā¢ Support the testing team during system and UAT testing
ā¢ Participate in Knowledge transfer
ā¢ Experience administering database management systems (i.e. ORACLE, Exadata, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure etc.) for business intelligence and analytics applications
ā¢ Create, test and implement safeguards to maintain data integrity and protect against unauthorized access
ā¢ Assist with SQL optimization and code reviews to ensure queries are efficient
ā¢ At least 10 years of experience
ā¢ Experience in database replication / Real-Time data delivery with either MSSQL or Oracle products (5+ years)
