Introduction

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be directly involved in designing and implementing database solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in building and administering SQL Server environments (2016, 2019)
• Working knowledge of Cloud Computing and Azure
• Experience with VMWare Technologies
• Demonstrated experience with SQL Patching and automation using tools such as PowerShell and Ansible
• Strong understanding of ITIL framework
• Proven ability to effectively interact with individuals across business units
• Highly organized with strong analytical skills

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Financial Services IT experience
• Broad experience with IP networking concepts - routers, firewalls, etc.
• SQL Server Certification
• Experience with MongoDB, Sybase, and PostgreSQL

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Consult, design, build, test, and deploy quality database solutions
• Administer SQL database infrastructure from design to production support
• Troubleshoot and tune database and server performance issues
• Provide 3rd level on-call support on a rotational basis
• Maintain a positive attitude while working with high demands and tight deadlines
