Job Summary
- Seeking a dedicated Data Qual Analyst/Developer to support our Data Governance objectives, including Data Modeling, Data Dictionary build-out, Data Profiling, Violation Tracking, and Data Steward organization engagement.
- The role will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to analyze, document, and improve enterprise data. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL and data analysis/development skills, along with experience supporting data qual and governance initiatives.
- Seeking a dedicated Data Qual Analyst/Developer to support our Data Governance objectives, including Data Modeling, Data Dictionary build-out, Data Profiling, Violation Tracking, and Data Steward organization engagement.
- The role will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to analyze, document, and improve enterprise data. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL and data analysis/development skills, along with experience supporting data qual and governance initiatives.
- Develop and maintain data models based on business and technical requirements.
- Build and maintain Data Dictionaries, including business definitions and technical data attributes.
- Perform data profiling to assess data qual, completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
- Identify, document, and track data qual violations/issues and support remediation.
- Work with Data Stewards and stakeholders to investigate and address data-related issues.
- Develop SQL queries, scripts, reports, and other analytical solutions to support data analysis and quality initiatives.
- Document data requirements, definitions, business rules, and related data information.
- Analyze data across multiple sources to identify discrepancies, trends, and potential quality issues.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to support data-related projects and initiatives.
- Strong SQL and experience working with relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with Data Analysis and Data Profiling.
- Experience with Data Modeling and understanding of data structures and relationships.
- Experience creating or maintaining Data Dictionaries, data definitions, or metadata.
- Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking data qual issues/violations.
- Experience working with Data Stewards, business users, and technical teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience working in a Data Governance or Enterprise Data Management environment.
- Knowledge of Data Qual, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Business Glossary, and data ownership concepts.
- Experience with data governance or data management tools.
- Experience with ETL/data integration processes.
- Experience with reporting or data visualization tools.
- Experience working with large or complex enterprise data environments.
