Technical Skills
• 6+ years of hands on Working experience as a full time data modeler.
• should have experience in designing symantic data models.
• Working experience with Relational Database Concepts.
• Strong skills in database design for Snowflake, Teradata, Hadoop.
• Experience with data modeling tools (Power Designer tool).
• Understanding of metadata tools (Metacenter/ Collibra).
• Understanding the concept of Hadoop and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarization with Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence concepts.
Analytic Skills
• Must have the ability to develop and maintain deliverables to schedule, ability to adapt to changes in requirements and priorities.
• Must be a self-starter, show initiative, and have the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time - prioritizing as appropriate.
• Liaise with business analysts, internal and external application development teams, DBA, data warehouse and QA groups.
• Must be able to work independently as part of a global team.
