Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedData Modeler with strong expertise inDatabricks to design and developlogical and physical data models for enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate will play a key role in structuring data for analytics, reporting, and scalable data processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and developlogical and physical data models using Databricks
• Translate business requirements intodata structures, schemas, and models
• Build and optimizedata models using Delta Lake and Spark-based architectures
• Definedata relationships, hierarchies, and data flows
• Ensure data models supportperformance, scalability, and data integrity
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders
• SupportETL/ELT processes and data pipeline design
• Maintain and documentdata models, metadata, and standards
• Ensure alignment withdata governance and best practices

Required Skills

• Strong experience indata modeling (logical & physical)
• Hands-on experience withDatabricks and Apache Spark
• Proficiency inSQL and Python (or Scala)
• Experience withdata warehousing concepts (Star, Snowflake schemas)
• Knowledge ofDelta Lake, partitioning, and performance tuning
• Understanding ofdata architecture and data lifecycle management

Preferred Skills

• Experience withcloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Familiarity withdata governance and data quality frameworks
• Experience withBI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Knowledge ofbig data ecosystems and distributed processing
