Location: Schaumburg, IL - 4 days in office and 1 Day Remote/WFH
Duration: 2-3 Month Contract
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 30 hours per week

Overview
TalentFish is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist for a 4-days onsite, 1-day WFH temporary assignment supporting our premier client. This role focuses on reviewing invoices and accurately entering data into Excel. It's ideal for someone with strong Excel skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to stay organized while working through high volumes of information.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices and related documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter invoice data into Excel spreadsheets with a high level of accuracy.
• Organize and maintain spreadsheets, files, and records so information is easy to find and use.
• Identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent information and flag it to the team.
• Follow up with internal teams as needed to gather or clarify information.
• Review completed entries with the team to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Track deadlines and keep work on schedule.
• Provide additional administrative support as assigned.

• Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (sorting, filtering, basic formulas, and formatting).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Administrative, accounts payable, or invoice processing experience is a plus, but not required.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
• Comfort working through repetitive, detail-heavy tasks without losing accuracy.

Brief training/onboarding will be provided on the client's invoice review process and data entry standards.

Compensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is $18 - $23 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance.
