Work site: Toronto, CA (Remote)
- Experience Level: Senior Level Data Engineer with 6-8 years of IT experience (4-5 years in data engineering)
- Core Responsibilities: Responsible for writing transformations using Python scripts and/or dbt models in Snowflake, working closely with clients, and delegating tasks to and tracking status from an offshore team
- dbt & SQL Requirements: Expert-level SQL, hands-on experience managing complex dbt projects, and experience with CI/CD management and job schedulers
- Python Requirements: Solid experience creating ETL pipelines, API integrations with Snowflake, and understanding core concepts such as memory management and clustering
- Snowflake & Data Warehousing Requirements: Hands-on knowledge of Snowflake (or conceptual understanding of Snowflake architecture) paired with strong overall Data Warehousing experience
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills for client collaboration and offshore team delegation
