JOB TITLE: Data Engineer
LOCATION: Remote
DURATION: 6+ month contract
RATE RANGE: $60 - $100 per hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
Our client, a large multinational consulting and strategy firm is looking for AI focused Data Engineers to join their client facing team
RESPONSIBILITIES:
You’ll guide clients through the digital landscape with a sharp eye on what’s important for them. You’ll clean, transform, and aggregate data; compile and install database systems; write complex queries; scale to multiple machines; and put disaster-recovery systems in place.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced degree is a quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, physics, statistics or applied mathematics
- Hands-on experience building advanced analytics data solutions
- Deep knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Anaconda
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, and/or SQL
- Experience in client facing roles and travel to client sites
