Data Engineer / Developer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Engineer / Developer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, Texas orPennington, New Jersey. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This position has a hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week.

Seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer/Developer to support a strategic data analytics and reporting platform, which is an Oracle-based Authorized Data Store (ADS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and support of data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and data models in a large-scale enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform strong Oracle SQL/PL/SQL development
• Handle Informatica ETL development and support
• Work with data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and data modeling
• Query large data lakes
• Understand upstream/downstream data dependencies and work with business and technology teams

Requirements:

• Strong Oracle SQL/PL/SQL development experience
• Informatica ETL development and support experience
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and data modeling
• Knowledge of 3NF and STAR schema/data models
• Experience with Python and Trino
• Experience querying large data lakes

Desired skills:

• Familiarity with Kafka and Autosys

Pay range:$55.06 - $63.06 per hour
