As one of the world's oldest and largest technology companies, the Client has been responsible for several technological innovations, including the automated teller machine (ATM), dynamic random-access memory (DRAM), the floppy disk, the hard disk drive, the magnetic stripe card, the relational database, the SQL programming language, and the UPC barcode. The company has made inroads in advanced computer chips, quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and data infrastructure.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for resolving support tickets related to Tableau reports and data sources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy, performance, and dashboard functionality reported by business users.
- Investigate data discrepancies and data integrity issues to validate data against source systems.
- Manage user permissions, site roles, and data access controls. Work with data governance policies to ensure data security and compliance.
- Creating scripts to send subscription for dashboards as per user requirements.
- Document all support tickets, resolution steps, and technical knowledge in a knowledge base for future reference.
- Collaborate with other team members to address underlying data issues that affect Tableau reports.
