Role: Data Engineer
Duration of the Contract: 1+ years
Location: On-Site in Sterling, VA
Interview Process: 2 video interviews
Engineering and Quality Assurance:
- Contributes to completion of technical milestones associated with specific projects, maintain documentation and version control (Git)
- Develops and conducts automate tests to ensure data integrity and security within our isolated network environments. (PostgreSQL)
- Integrates DevSecOps best practices into the development lifecycle by building automated deployment pipelines that scan for vulnerabilities and enforce secure configuration standards across the private cloud infrastructure.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborates with data science team to transform raw data and integrate machine learning models into automated processes
- Works with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, JVM-languages (Java or Scala) for Spark
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
