Job description
We are looking for a Senior Google Cloud Engineer to design, build, and manage enterprise-grade cloud data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on expertise in GCP services, CI/CD automation, and AI — with the ability to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions and drive innovation through GenAI and agentic AI workflows.Â
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
â–¸ Architect and build scalable data platforms on GCP using BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
â–¸ Design and implement end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time data ingestion, transformation, and analytics.
â–¸ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Cloud Build for automated infrastructure provisioning and application deployment.
â–¸ Containerize and deploy applications using Docker, Cloud Build, and Cloud Run.
â–¸ Design and build AI agents using Google's Agent Development Kit (ADK) to automate complex multi-step business workflows.
â–¸ Build and deploy GenAI-powered applications leveraging Vertex AI, Gemini models, and Model Garden.
â–¸ Implement RAG pipelines using vector databases and embedding models for enterprise knowledge retrieval.
▸ Drive FinOps initiatives — monitor cloud spend, optimize BigQuery costs, and implement cost governance across projects.
â–¸ Set up Cloud Monitoring, logging, and alerting for operational observability across all GCP services.
