Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing solutions.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for integrating data from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Perform data transformation, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality.
• Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.
• Optimize data pipelines and queries for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot data processing and integration issues.
• Implement data quality, security, and governance best practices.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and application teams.
• Monitor and maintain data pipelines and ensure timely delivery of data.
• Document data processes, pipelines, and technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience in ETL/ELT, data integration, and data pipeline development.
• Good understanding of data warehousing and data modelling concepts.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and data engineering technologies.
• Good understanding of data quality, data governance, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
