Job Role - Data Architect- Retail experience

Expr.- 12- 15 years.

Location - Remote US

Interview process -2 internal + 1 Client round

Bill Rate- around 80/hr on C2C

Must have skills: Domain Knowledge (Strong), Databricks, SQL (Strong), Data Modeling (Strong), Talend ETL

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work with client SMEs and architects during discovery, design, UAT and go-live.

1. Should be able to assess existing warehouse/ETL landscapes and define modernization strategies.

1. Solid knowledge of data modeling including (but not limited to) designing designing Bronze/Silver/Gold architectures and domain-oriented data models

1. Design end-to-end Databrick pipelines for ingesting data from varied sources, applying data quality rules and transformations

1. Ability to understand existing SQL & Stored procedures, and re-engineer into Databricks-native pipelines.

1. Define reconciliation, governance, security and downstream integration patterns.

1. Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews and support proposal/solutioning activities.

Primary Skills:

Strong hands-on Databricks experience Strong PySpark, Spark SQL, Python and SQL skills

Experience with Medallion architecture, Lakeflow Pipelines/Jobs, Auto Loader, ingestion patterns and Data Quality / Business Rules frameworks

Strong knowledge of Unity Catalog, Data Modelling & Data governance Data warehouse migration and modernization experience.

Good to Have skills:

Redshift and Talend experience Databricks Apps and GenAI capabilities
