Data Architect

Provide a short description of the Position: This position will support cloud support services, such as cloud integration technical assistance, cloud-based analytic and security programs, and training for Dept personnel on the use of cloud-based tools.

Provide a list of the day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate: • The Systems Architect will design and implement service-oriented architecture, platform as a service, infrastructure as a service and software as a service using IBM DataPower, WSO2 API Manager, and WSO2 Identity Manager. • The Systems Architect will design and implement secure applications using security APIs, transport and message layer security, encryption and decryption algorithms for data security, SAML, single sign, OAuth, and multi-factor authentication. • The Systems Architect will be a lead technical architect on projects that require a thorough understanding of systems architecture, engineering, administration, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and preventative maintenance and security procedures. • The Systems Architect will perform XSLT programming to create custom stylesheets for IBM DataPower, perform application load balancing using Kemp Application delivery controller, and initiate application deployment and monitoring using continuous integration systems and application monitoring tools. • The Systems Architect will architect, develop, and debug Java applications. • The Systems Architect will create diagrams and documentation for application and infrastructure architecture.
