Data and Analytics QA Lead

Job Description:

• Define and own the QA strategy for the Data Ops platform, covering data ingestion, transformation, storage, analytics, and consumption layers
• Establish test frameworks, standards, and governance aligned to enterprise SDLC and Data Ops best practices
• Act as the single point of accountability for quality metrics, defect leakage, and release readiness
• Design and execute data validation, reconciliation, and integrity testing across:
  • Ingestion pipelines (batch & streaming)
  • ETL/ELT processes
  • Curated data layers and data products
• Validate data completeness, accuracy, timeliness, lineage, and consistency
• Perform schema, metadata, and entitlement testing to ensure correct data access and governance
• Support data migration and cutover testing for legacy-to-cloud transitions
• Drive test automation for data pipelines, APIs, and platform components
• Integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and quality gates
• Leverage cloud-native tools and frameworks for scalable test execution
• Validate AWS platform components such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Step Functions
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements relevant to Wealth Management (e.g., data segregation, auditability, access controls)
• Support non-functional testing including performance, scalability, resiliency, and failover scenarios
• Partner with InfoSec and Data Governance teams to validate controls and policies
• Collaborate with product owners, data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into test scenarios and acceptance criteria
• Provide clear quality dashboards and reporting for leadership and clients
• Support UAT and business sign-off activities
