Data Analyst - Sr

Job title: Data Analyst
Duration: 15 months with possible extension 
Location: Mclean, VA -Hybrid  
Rate: $50-$55/hr on w2 - without benefits

Introduction

The Card Data Management (CDM) organization is the risk steward ensuring a well-managed data ecosystem for the organization. CDM serves as the governance function accountable for the organization's data risk. CDM is on a transformational journey to build out the data governance control framework, focusing on automation and preventative controls to unleash the business for future data needs including generative AI and new third-party data.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Pyspark, Databricks, and BI tools (Quicksight preferred)
• Strong communication skills to translate technical work to business stakeholders
• Ability to leverage AI tools to improve efficiency
• Proactive and independent troubleshooting skills
• Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in developing and improving data management-related controls and reporting
• Strong understanding of data environments and a passion for innovation and automation
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally across business units

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and continuously improve Card’s data management controls
• Apply a strategic mindset to Card’s data footprint while developing technical improvements
• Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights
