About The Job:

• We are seeking a Data Quality Analyst / Data Engineer with strong expertise in SAP data, Databricks, SQL, and PySpark/Python to support Data Quality (DQ) rule migration, validation, reconciliation, and reporting initiatives.

Essential Job Functions:

• Data Discovery: Identify the SAP tables and fields used for existing Data Quality (DQ) rules and reports, and locate the corresponding data within Databricks.
• Data Validation: Validate data across all Databricks layers (Bronze, Silver, etc.) for completeness, structure, and availability of required fields.
• DQ Rule Migration & Build: Select, migrate, and build existing Data Quality rules in Databricks as part of the Proof of Concept (PoC).
• PoC Testing & Reconciliation: Execute DQ rules within Databricks and compare results against existing DQ outputs, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• End-to-End Rule Migration: Following successful PoC completion, migrate and build agreed As-Is DQ rules into Databricks, including SQL logic, data mappings, business rules, transformations, and outputs.
• Data & Rule Validation: Perform end-to-end validation of source data, DQ rules, rule results, and defect resolution activities to ensure expected business outcomes are achieved.
• DQ Reporting: Support development of Data Quality outputs, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting solutions using Databricks, including report result validation.
• Documentation & BAU Handover: Document data mappings, DQ rules, validation results, migration activities, and operational procedures to support business-as-usual handover.

Qualifications:
Required Skills

• Strong SQL and PySpark/Python development knowledge.
• Hands-on experience in Data Quality (DQ) analysis, validation, and governance.
• Experience working with SAP data, preferably Master Data domains.
• Good understanding of SAP tables and data structures.
• Hands-on experience with the Databricks platform.
• Experience performing data reconciliation and comparison across multiple data sources.
• Ability to translate Data Quality requirements and business rules into SQL and Python-based implementations.
• Experience conducting DQ rule testing, defect analysis, troubleshooting, and validation activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in enterprise data migration, data transformation, and data governance initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working with large-scale SAP and Databricks environments.
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting DQ reporting, KPI dashboards, and business intelligence solutions.

Education:

• Degree Level qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
