Internship Program Requirements
  • Education: Currently pursuing a four-year degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and summer 2029.
  • Academic performance: Minimum overall GPA of 2.8.
  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned work location.
  • Geographic flexibility: Willingness to relocate to an ADM location in North America.
  • Availability: Must be available for a 12-week internship from mid-May through early August 2027.
  • Background check: Successful completion of a background check is required.
  • Work authorization: ADM is unable to provide work visa sponsorship for this position.

Job Summary
The Data Analyst intern is a member of the pricing analytics team, developing pricing models and tools to enable the business to make data-driven pricing decisions.  The responsibilities include pricing data management, visualization/analytical tool and methodology development, tool maintenance, impact measurement, and developing/enhancing machine learning models for established and new product pricing recommendations. This position is in Erlanger, KY (Cincinnati, OH metro area)

The ideal candidate will have:
  • knowledge of data science techniques
  • ability to drive effective support of data analysis and model management
  • ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Job Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and maintain data science products, PowerBI visualizations, and dynamic ad-hoc frameworks that help commercial teams with day to day pricing and sales activity
  • Self-starter with continuous improvement mindset
  • Translate complex business problems into concrete analysis that help drive actions
  • Write optimized code improving efficiency, scalability, and stability
Requirements for this position include:
  • Rising Junior/Senior in a bachelor’s program or completed first year of master’s program in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or related field
  • Coursework or internships with exposure to statistical programming and analysis methodologies
  • Experience with data visualization and data processing tools (e.g., PowerBI, Python/R, Databricks)
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good communication skills, able to explain something technical with the appropriate amount of detail

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
