Job Overview

We are looking for aData Scientist / Data Engineer to support large-scale AI model development by managing data pipelines, labeling workflows, and dataset governance. This role plays a critical part in preparing high-quality training data forcomputer vision and generative AI models, working closely with engineers and modeling teams.

Key Responsibilities

Data Curation & Labeling

• Managedata labeling workflows, including data enqueueing, labeling tools/UI, and extracting labels into datasets for modeling teams.

• Performmanual annotations of training data based on modeling requirements.

• UseLLMs and ML models to annotate, evaluate, and audit training data.

Data Engineering – Pipelines

• Maintainlarge-scale, high-performance data pipelines processingbillions of images.

• Supportdata sourcing, ML-based content understanding, and LLM-based data cleaning.

Data Engineering – Governance

• Manage datasets with properaccess controls, retention policies, and privacy compliance.

Analysis & Model Support

• Work with engineers to analyzemodel performance and gaps.

• Identify required datasets, mine data, and prepare it forfuture training cycles.

Required Skills

• Strongverbal and written communication and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and aptitude forexperimental investigation

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Working knowledge ofPython and SQL

• Basic understanding ofcomputer vision and generative AI models

• Experience withdata ETL workflows and pipelines

• Experience usingLLMs for data labeling and content evaluation

Education & Experience

• Associate's degree or equivalent training in Computer Science, Electronics, Physics, Bioinformatics, or related STEM fields

• Experience insoftware development, testing, or HCI research preferred

• Prior experience atMeta is a plus
