Data Analyst /Data Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Downtown Dallas, TX (In-Office)

About the Role

Priority Management Group is seeking aData Engineer with strong analytics capabilities to help build and scale our internal data infrastructure. This role will play a critical part in designing how our organization collects, organizes, and analyzes operational, financial, and clinical data across our healthcare facilities.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoysbuilding data pipelines and infrastructure, but also has the ability toanalyze the data and turn it into actionable insights for leadership.

You will work closely with our IT, finance, and operations teams to transform raw data from multiple systems into reliable dashboards and reports that drive better decision-making across the company.

This is afull-time, in-office role located in Downtown Dallas.


Key Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop and maintainoperational, financial, and clinical dashboards usingTableau and/or Power BI
  • Writeadvanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation
  • UsePython for automation, data cleaning, and advanced analysis
  • Build recurring reports related to:
    • Census trends
    • Reimbursement & payer mix
    • Labor productivity
    • Clinical performance metrics
    • Revenue cycle metrics

Data Engineering & Infrastructure

  • Design, build, and maintaindata pipelines and centralized datasets from multiple healthcare systems
  • Develop processes fordata ingestion, transformation, and validation
  • Build and maintain ascalable internal data warehouse or data storage environment
  • Ensuredata quality, governance, and consistency across multiple platforms
  • Automate manual reporting and data workflows

Business Collaboration

  • Partner withoperations, finance, and executive leadership to identify performance gaps
  • Translate complex business questions intodata-driven insights
  • Provide analytics that supportstrategic and operational decision-making

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or a similar role
  • StrongSQL skills (joins, CTEs, window functions, performance optimization)
  • StrongPython skills (pandas, automation scripts, data transformation)
  • Experience buildingTableau and/or Power BI dashboards
  • Experience buildingdata pipelines or structured datasets
  • Strong understanding ofKPIs, reporting metrics, and business analytics
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Strongproblem-solving and analytical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working withhealthcare, SNF, or post-acute care datasets
  • Experience withdata warehouses or cloud storage platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, etc.)
  • Experience integrating data frommultiple software systems or APIs
  • Familiarity withETL/ELT processes
