This role bridges complex technical data architectures (GCP BigQuery, advanced SQL) with executive stakeholder engagement to ensure exceptional data quality and actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

1. Advanced Analytics & Data Architecture

• SQL & BigQuery Expertise: Architect, optimize, and execute complex SQL queries and data pipelines within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery to handle large-scale financial and operational datasets.
• Dashboard & Report Engineering: Design, build, and deploy high-impact, interactive dashboards and automated reporting suites using Power BI to support executive decision-making.
• Data Quality & Reconciliation: Implement rigorous data quality frameworks, validation checks, and reconciliation processes to ensure absolute accuracy, integrity, and compliance across all financial and operational reporting.

2. Domain & Business Alignment

• Financial Services Acumen: Apply deep domain expertise in the Financial Services sector—specifically within Finance, Risk, or regulatory reporting functions—to translate complex financial data into meaningful business narratives.
• Strategic Advisory: Partner with senior business leaders to identify core metric requirements, define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and shape long-term data consumption strategies.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between technical engineering squads, data governance teams, and executive stakeholders.
• Communication & Influence: Translate highly technical data concepts and findings into clear, digestible insights for non-technical leadership and board-level stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving & Innovation: Proactively identify operational bottlenecks, data discrepancies, or workflow inefficiencies, delivering scalable, data-driven solutions.

Required Qualifications & Competencies

Technical Skills

• 10+ years of progressive experience in data reporting, business intelligence, and advanced analytics.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on enterprise experience withGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery.
• Advanced mastery ofPower BI (including DAX, data modeling, and enterprise deployment).
• Proven experience building end-to-end reporting frameworks, automated dashboards, and data quality/reconciliation protocols.

Domain Knowledge

• Deep operational experience within theFinancial Services sector, with a strong preference for backgrounds in corporateFinance, accounting, or risk data domains.
• Familiarity with financial data governance, metadata management, and regulatory reporting standards.
