Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months

Job Description:
  • We are seeking amid-level Data Analyst / BI Analyst with strong hands-on experience inSQL reporting and Tableau to support reporting and business intelligence initiatives.
    The primary focus of this role will be developing, maintaining, and enhancing SQL-based reports andmigrating existing reports from Crystal Reports to Tableau. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with complex SQL queries, includingcomplex joins, subqueries, aggregations, and data transformations, and translating existing reporting requirements into effective Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
    Healthcare or hospital experience isnot required. The successful candidate will primarily need strong technical reporting and data visualization capabilities.
    Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reports usingSQL and Tableau.
  • Support the migration of existingCrystal Reports to Tableau.
  • Analyze existing Crystal Reports to understand business logic, calculations, data sources, and SQL queries.
  • Recreate and improve existing reports and reporting functionality in Tableau.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries involving:
    • Multiple-table joins
    • Complex joins
    • Subqueries
    • CTEs
    • Aggregations
    • Calculated fields
    • Data transformations
    • Filtering and business logic
  • Validate data between legacy Crystal Reports and newly developed Tableau reports.
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies in reporting results and identify underlying data or query issues.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into SQL queries, reports, and Tableau dashboards.
  • Assist with ad-hoc reporting and data analysis requests.
  • Develop and maintain SQL-based reporting solutions to support ongoing business needs.
  • Help improve existing reports for usability, accuracy, performance, and consistency.
  • Document reporting logic, SQL queries, data sources, and report specifications as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to support ongoing reporting and business intelligence initiatives.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience migratingCrystal Reports to Tableau.Hands-on experience withCrystal Reports.Experience withMicrosoft Office 365.Experience withMicrosoft Forms and Forms-based booking/workflows.Experience withPower Automate.Experience withSharePoint.Experience working with healthcare or hospital reporting environments is a plus, butnot required.Familiarity with healthcare data or credentialing systems is a plus, butnot required.Required Qualifications
3–6 years of experience inData Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or a related field.Strong hands-on experience withSQL and SQL-based reporting.Strong experience developing reports and dashboards usingTableau.Experience writingcomplex SQL queries, including complex joins across multiple tables.Experience with SQL concepts such as:
  • Inner/Outer Joins
  • CTEs
  • Subqueries
  • Aggregations
  • CASE statements
  • Window functions
  • Data filtering and transformation
Experience analyzing and translating existing reporting requirements into Tableau.Experience troubleshooting and validating reporting data.Ability to work independently on reporting requirements and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
