Role summary
We are seeking a DAS Support Specialist to support the growing Distributed Antenna System (DAS) portfolio within the Clients global enterprise wireless environment, and to manage the relationship with DAS partners. You will coordinate the onboarding, operation, and lifecycle of DAS sites, and act as the link between the Client, the wireless delivery team, and DAS vendors, carriers, and integrators. The role ensures that in-building cellular and public safety coverage is delivered, maintained, and aligned with the broader Wi-Fi and wireless strategy.
DAS portfolio support
Maintain a consolidated inventory of DAS sites, including system type (passive, active, hybrid), vendor, carriers supported, frequency bands, ownership, and contract status
Support the onboarding of new DAS sites, coordinating requirements, surveys, design reviews, installation, commissioning, and handover
Track the portfolio pipeline, including new builds, expansions, upgrades, and decommissions, and report on progress, risks, and dependencies
Coordinate DAS requirements with Wi-Fi design, so in-building cellular and Wi-Fi coverage are planned together (shared cabling, pathways, power, and head-end space)
Maintain DAS documentation, including as-built drawings, RF coverage maps, equipment lists, and test results
Support lifecycle planning, including technology refresh, capacity upgrades, and 5G readiness
DAS partner and vendor management
Act as the primary point of contact for DAS partners, including DAS vendors, system integrators, maintenance providers, and mobile network operators (MNOs)
Manage partner performance against contracts and SLAs, running regular service reviews and tracking corrective actions
Coordinate carrier engagement for new site onboarding, signal source approvals, and capacity changes
Support commercial activity, including quotes, purchase orders, change requests, and invoice validation
Escalate and resolve partner issues, and maintain a clear record of commitments and outcomes
Support partner selection, onboarding, and performance improvement as the portfolio grows
Operations and incident support
Coordinate incident response for DAS issues, such as coverage loss, alarms, and carrier or head-end faults, working with partners and the operations team
Track DAS alarms and health data from partner monitoring platforms, and work with the telemetry team to bring DAS health into central reporting where possible
Support problem management by identifying recurring DAS issues and driving permanent fixes with partners
Coordinate planned maintenance and change windows to minimize user impact
Support coverage validation and acceptance testing after installation or changes
Compliance, risk, and reporting
Track compliance requirements, including public safety and emergency responder radio coverage (ERRCS) and local regulatory requirements where applicable
Maintain records for inspections, certifications, and periodic testing
Provide regular portfolio and partner performance reports covering coverage, availability, incidents, projects, and cost
Identify risks such as end-of-life equipment, contract expiries, and carrier dependencies, and recommend mitigation
Support data quality and audit activities with accurate DAS inventory and evidence
Required qualifications
3+ years of experience in wireless, telecom, or in-building coverage, with exposure to DAS, small cells, or carrier infrastructure
Working knowledge of DAS architectures and RF fundamentals (passive, active, hybrid; cellular bands; 4G/5G)
Experience managing vendors, integrators, or carriers, including SLA and contract management
Familiarity with project coordination, site onboarding, and commissioning processes
Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow), and with inventory and reporting tools
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to read RF designs, coverage maps, and technical documentation
Preferred qualifications
Certifications such as CWNA, iBwave, or vendor DAS training (Corning, CommScope, Comba, or similar)
Experience with public safety DAS and ERRCS requirements
Experience with neutral host or multi-carrier DAS models
Familiarity with private 5G and CBRS
ITIL Foundation or PMP/PRINCE2 certification
Experience with vendor management frameworks and commercial or procurement processes
Key performance indicators
DAS portfolio onboarding delivered on time and to agreed quality
Partner SLA compliance and resolution of partner escalations
DAS availability and incident resolution times
Accuracy and completeness of DAS inventory and documentation
Compliance with inspection, testing, and certification requirements
Partner and stakeholder satisfaction
