The opportunity
Power Transformers is a business unit within Hitachi Energy that manufactures power transformers and reactors up to the highest possible power and voltage levels. The unit in Ludvika has unique global expertise in ultra-high voltage technology and is an important hub for the development of new transformer technology. Power Transformers is currently in a strong growth phase and we are therefore looking for an audit manager for our quality department. In this role, you will have a central position in the organization and be an important part of the development of both our production and our processes. This position is located at Hitachi Energy – Power Transformers in Ludvika, Sweden. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and on-site work, knowing that both physical contact and individual time for focus are needed.
How you’ll make an impact
- You will be responsible for leading, running and improving our internal audit activities regarding standards ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001.
- Support and coordinate our internal auditor community, ensuring auditors stay up to date on relevant standards, helping the organization effectively manage and follow up on deviations.
- Promote management systems as an integral part of daily operations.
- Be the contact person for external ISO certification bodies.
- Conduct, document and follow up on internal audits.
- Work together with other internal auditors at Power Transformers to ensure that we have an efficient and coordinated way of working with audits.
- Monthly status report on the management of internal and external audit deviations.
- Provide onboarding and training for relevant Power Transformers employees.
Your background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience working with standards, compliance, and auditing activities.
- You are proactive, able to meet deadlines, and driven to identify opportunities for improvement and create lasting value for the organization
- You are a team player with strong communication skills and a passion in driving improvements through ISO standards, audit insights, and process development.
- You are pragmatic, resourceful, and committed to finding ways to improve performance, deliver business value, and meet compliance requirements.
- Certified ISO Lead Auditor or equivalent experience is considered an advantage
- Prior experience in auditing ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001
- Fluency in both Swedish and English.
