Comment vous aurez un impact

• Superviser, coordonner et répartir le travail des techniciens d’essais haute tension.
• Agir comme ressource technique principale et référence pour l’équipe.
• Assurer la formation pratique et l’accompagnement des nouveaux techniciens.
• Réaliser de façon autonome l’ensemble des essais basse tension, grande puissance et diélectriques haute tension.
• Effectuer et superviser des essais spécialisés (choc de foudre, tension appliquée CA/CC, décharges partielles, essais de type et de routine).
• Diagnostiquer et résoudre des problématiques techniques complexes.
• Interpréter les résultats d’essais et valider les rapports techniques.
• Assurer la conformité aux standards internationaux, aux exigences clients et aux procédures internes HITACHI.
• Utiliser de manière autonome les équipements d’essais, instruments de laboratoire et systèmes de contrôle.
• Encadrer les techniciens lors des essais critiques et assurer la sécurité des opérations.
• Participer aux analyses DGA (Dissolved Gas Analysis) et aux analyses diélectriques des huiles isolantes.
• Contribuer activement à l’amélioration continue des processus d’essais et à l’optimisation des équipements.
• Collaborer étroitement avec l’ingénierie, la production, la qualité et le service.
• Assurer le respect rigoureux des normes de santé et sécurité.

Votre parcours

• Le candidat doit déjà avoir une autorisation de travail valide au Canada.
• DEC en génie électrique ou domaine connexe.
• Minimum de 8 ans d’expérience en essais haute tension.
• Maîtrise complète des essais basse tension, grande puissance et diélectriques haute tension.
• Connaissance approfondie des analyses DGA et de la chimie des huiles isolantes.
• Capacité démontrée à diagnostiquer des problématiques techniques complexes.
• Leadership naturel et excellente capacité à mobiliser une équipe.
• Grande rigueur en matière de sécurité et de conformité.
• Capacité à effectuer de façon autonome toutes les tâches du niveau apprenti et autonome.
• Aptitude à encadrer, former et soutenir techniquement d’autres techniciens.

The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy and contribute to shaping the future of energy. As a High Voltage Test Operator, you will play a key role in the validation and certification of large power transformers supporting electrical grids worldwide.
Depending on your experience, you may begin at the apprentice level and progressively develop full autonomy in performing high-voltage and dielectric testing operations in a highly specialized and safety-driven environment.
This position offers the opportunity to build sought-after technical expertise while contributing to large-scale international energy projects.
 

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Perform electrical testing on power transformers (low voltage, high power, and high-voltage dielectric tests).
• Supervise and coordinate high-voltage testing activities.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for the team.
• Provide hands-on training and mentoring to technicians.
• Perform all low-voltage, high-power, and high-voltage dielectric tests autonomously.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical testing issues.
•  Interpret and validate technical test results and reports.
• Ensure compliance with international standards, customer specifications, and internal procedures.
• Perform and support DGA and dielectric oil analyses.
• Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety standards.
   

Your Background

• Valid Canadian work authorization.
• College diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of high-voltage testing experience.
• Full mastery of power transformer testing.
• Strong expertise in DGA and insulating oil chemistry.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Strong safety mindset and technical rigor.
