KTLA is looking for a skilled Field Segment Producer to work on our Emmy Award winning live Rose Parade coverage. This job requires skills in live segment producing, execution and field production logistics for our New Year’s Day celebration. Producer with a can-do attitude will work directly with Executive and Show Producers on show day to execute live segmentelements.

Responsibilities

• Execute live segments for our Emmy Award winning Rose Paradecoverage.
• Work directly with crew, talent, and interviewees on location inPasadena.
• Coordinate onsite interviews, working directly with crew and talent in thefield.
• Work with Executive Producers and Producers on segment pitches andlogistics.
• Position is temporary for live event – December –January.

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience in live production, scripted or relatedfield.
• Bachelor’s degree in film, communications, marketing, management, or relatedfield
• Capable of meeting tight deadlines and working with timeconstraints
• Must be a self-starter, able to excelindependently
• Ability to multitask with excellent attention todetail
• Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-movingenvironment
• Professional judgment for handling confidentialinformation
• Excellent written and verbalcommunications.

Compensation $25/hr.+ - commensurate with experience and skilllevel
