Für unseren Standort in Zürich Altstetten suchen wir einen Factory Quality Assurance Specialist. Du möchtest nicht nur Fehler beheben, sondern deren Ursachen verstehen und dauerhaft beseitigen? Dann bist du bei uns genau richtig.

In dieser Schlüsselrolle analysierst du Qualitätsabweichungen, führst Root Cause Analysen durch und leitest nachhaltige Verbesserungen ein. Gemeinsam mit Produktion, Process Engineering, Design Engineering und Qualität reduzierst du Ausschuss, Nacharbeit und Fehlerkosten und trägst aktiv zur Zuverlässigkeit unserer Produkte und Prozesse bei.

Dabei arbeitest du an spannenden technischen Herausforderungen statt Routineaufgaben, übernimmst Verantwortung für sichtbare Verbesserungen und hast direkten Einfluss auf Qualität und Kundenzufriedenheit. Das kannst du bewirken

• Analyse von Qualitätsabweichungen, Ausschuss und Nacharbeit sowie Identifikation der tatsächlichen Ursachen
• Anwendung strukturierter Problemlösungsmethoden wie 5-Why, Ishikawa, FMEA und 8D
• Entwicklung und Umsetzung nachhaltiger Korrektur- und Vorbeugemassnahmen gemeinsam mit den Fachbereichen
• Unterstützung der Produktion bei komplexen Qualitäts- und Prozessfragestellungen
• Durchführung von Root Cause Analysen bei internen und externen Qualitätsmeldungen
• Analyse von Qualitätskennzahlen sowie Erkennung von Trends und Risiken
• Aktive Mitgestaltung einer Kultur der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung und Fehlerprävention

Dein Hintergrund

• Abgeschlossenes technisches Studium (z.B. Elektrotechnik, Maschinenbau, Produktionstechnik oder Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen) oder vergleichbare technische Ausbildung
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in Produktion, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering oder Qualitätsmanagement
• Starke analytische Fähigkeiten und Leidenschaft für Root Cause Analysen und der nachhaltigen Behebung von Qualitätsproblemen
• Kenntnisse in Qualitätsmethoden und -werkzeugen wie 8D, FMEA, SPC, 5-Why und Ishikawa
• Kommunikationsstärke und erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit über Fachbereiche hinweg
• Eigeninitiative, Verantwortungsbewusstsein und ein ausgeprägtes Continuous-Improvement-Mindset
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

The opportunity

For our Zurich Altstetten site, we are looking for a Factory Quality Assurance Specialist who is driven to go beyond fixing problems and passionate about understanding their true causes. If you enjoy uncovering root causes, solving complex challenges, and driving lasting improvements, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

In this key role, you will lead root cause investigations, analyze quality deviations, and drive sustainable corrective actions. Working closely with Production, Process Engineering, Design Engineering, and Quality teams, you will help reduce scrap, rework, and quality costs while improving the reliability of our products and processes.

How you'll make an impact

• Analyze quality deviations, scrap, and rework, and identify the true root causes
• Apply structured problem-solving methodologies such as 5 Why, Ishikawa, FMEA, and 8D
• Develop and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Support production in resolving complex quality and process-related issues
• Conduct root cause analyses for internal and external quality notifications
• Analyze quality metrics and identify trends and risks
• Actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and error prevention

Your background

• Degree in a technical field (such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering) or an equivalent technical qualification
• Several years of professional experience in Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering, or Quality Management
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for root cause analysis and the sustainable resolution of quality issues
• Knowledge of quality methods and tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, 5 Why, and Ishikawa
• Strong communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions
• Proactive mindset, sense of ownership, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
