About The Job:
- Seeking an AWS Architecture and Key Management SME responsible for designing, validating and delivering next-generation encryption services on AWS while ensuring alignment with enterprise cloud and security standards.
- Experience: 10 to 12 years
Essential Job Functions:
- Design end-to-end encryption solutions for sensitive AWS workloads.
- Integrate AWS KMS, XKS and CloudHSM with Thales HSMs and SG security ecosystem.
- Ensure compliance with cloud, cybersecurity and governance standards.
- Define lifecycle management, dependency mapping and DR/BCP strategies.
- Validate solutions with Architecture, Security and Cloud Governance teams.
- Facilitate design reviews, risk assessments and cryptographic compliance reviews.
- Maintain traceability of risks, decisions and controls.
- Deploy and configure AWS KMS, XKS, CloudHSM and Thales integrations.
- Automate deployments using CI/CD, DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Create HLDs, LLDs, runbooks and operational documentation.
- Build monitoring dashboards and compliance reporting.
- Execute proof-of-concepts using real use cases.
- Assess performance, scalability and reliability.
- Recommend optimization and security improvements.
- Lead transition from POC to production.
- Ensure operational readiness, monitoring, governance and secure CI/CD.
- Work with OSM, Operations, Cloud and Security teams.
- Drive incident readiness, DR testing and change management.
- Train teams on AWS KMS, XKS, HSM and encryption architectures.
- Conduct workshops and technical deep dives.
- Help establish AWS key management competency frameworks.
Qualifications:
- AWS KMS, XKS, CloudHSM and key lifecycle management.
- Thales HSM integration and enterprise encryption architectures.
- Strong AWS cloud architecture and security knowledge.
- Understanding of IAM, VPC security, encryption and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Automation, monitoring and configuration management at scale.
- Cross-team collaboration with Architecture, Cloud, Governance and Security teams.
- Experience leading POCs and production transitions.
- Operational governance, risk assessment and audit documentation expertise.
- Experience with Thales, Luna or equivalent enterprise HSM solutions.
- AWS Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree
