We are seeking an experienced Cyber Risk Management professional to support theSecond Line of Defense (2LOD) for a foreign banking organization (FBO). This role focuses on cybersecurity and technology risk oversight, independent review and challenge, and regulatory risk management rather than hands-on cybersecurity engineering.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • 8+ years of relevant experience with FBOs in information risk management, technology risk, cybersecurity, IT audit, technology controls, cyber resilience, consulting, or a related financial-services discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. banking regulatory expectations relating to cybersecurity, technology risk, operational resilience, access management, incident response, third-party technology risk, cloud, and regulatory examinations.
  • Proven ability to perform independent second-line review and challenge, assess control design and execution, document risk conclusions, and communicate material issues to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with cyber resilience, incident response and recovery, IAM and MFA, privileged access, vulnerability management, IT operations, cloud or SaaS risk, third-party technology risk, and technology risk assessments.
  • Ability to distinguish regulatory, framework, control-design, execution, evidence, governance, and operating-model gaps and recommend proportionate actions.
  • Strong analytical, writing, project-management, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality outputs against fixed milestones.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce concise, regulator-ready documentation and risk opinions.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, or equivalent are beneficial.
