Business Consulting - P&C Commercial

We are seeking an experiencedBusiness Consulting professional specializing in P&C Commercial insurance to serve as a subject matter expert and hands-on consultant, applying deep domain knowledge to real client projects, solutioning, delivery, and business transformation initiatives across underwriting, pricing, claims, and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to subject matter expert for P&C Commercial insurance matters, including underwriting, rating / pricing, policy administration, claims, product configuration, risk / exposure management, workflow, and regulatory considerations
• Apply hands-on consulting and delivery experience to client engagements, translating domain expertise into real project scenarios and business transformation initiatives
• Analyze complex insurance products, policies, processes, workflows, and data to identify opportunities for improvement and provide actionable insights
• Provide expertise in Pricing / Rating capabilities, including rating models, pricing processes, rating engines, product rules, premium calculation, and related operational impacts
• Manage the successful delivery of client requirements, including active participation in RFP responses, solution shaping, estimations, and proposal development
• Contribute to insurance thought leadership through white papers, POVs, client presentations, and market-facing collateral
• Identify and shape AI / GenAI-led use cases across the P&C insurance value chain, including underwriting, rating / pricing, claims, servicing, fraud, and operational efficiency
• Drive POCs and accelerators based on recent and relevant client project needs, ensuring practical applicability and measurable business value

Requirements

• 13-18 years of overall experience in IT, including 10+ years in the Insurance industry with strong focus on P&C Commercial lines
• Hands-on experience in consulting, business analysis, product management, transformation, or delivery roles within P&C Commercial insurance
• Expertise in at least two of the following P&C Commercial insurance capabilities: Pricing / Rating, Underwriting, Policy Administration / Renewal / Maintenance
• Skills in Product Configuration, Risk / Exposure Management, Claims, Workflow Management, Billing, or Premium Processing
• Background in Pricing / Rating, including commercial rating models, rating algorithms, pricing workflows, bureau / ISO considerations, and rating platform implementations
• Working knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, and GenAI / LLM applications in insurance, with the ability to articulate relevant use cases, business value, adoption considerations, responsible AI implications, and regulatory considerations
• Highly collaborative, with excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills

Nice to have

• Hands-on exposure to GenAI tools, AI-assisted platforms, analytics tools, or automation solutions
• Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Rally, or similar agile / collaboration platforms
• Exposure to COTS insurance products, rating engines, policy administration platforms, or system integration projects
